Endeavour – she represents the courage to continue. After the Challenger debacle, it would have been easy to pack it in. But NASA didn’t. With the help of good people, they were forced to face their complacency. The shuttle program was forced to ask questions it didn’t want to ask. It was forced to look into things for which it didn’t want to see the answer. It took courage, but ask they did. Answer they did. It wasn’t pleasant. With courage, Endeavour was the result.
