eCommerce Products integration consists of two main parts: product addition/migration and eCommerce set up. Whether you’re adding your own products from scratch or migrating them from an old site (which requires extensive and careful redirect mapping), we’ve found over the years that the time or costs involved are about the same, and break down into three main categories: 10 products or under, 100 products or more, and 1000 products or more. When we create or move under 10 products, we invest a great amount of time and detail in creating those products, ensuring their individual SEO is top-notch. When producing hundreds or products, we break them into categories and systematize the process significantly, so the SEO is strong across all categories. When we’re dealing with thousands or tens of thousands of line items, the requirements are similar, but obviously take longer. We have systems and spreadsheets built out for that kind of requirement.
Our ongoing management can tackle extremely high quality SEO on a per-product basis over time, or we can invest extra labor in each product before the new site launch for an extra fee.
Paired with the product set up is the eCommerce set up, including payment gateways, shipping, tax requirements. We invest a great deal of care and detail in ensuring the set up will work perfectly.
