Kindness: Roger Klein & Spectrum West Design – Interfanatic Customer Spotlight

Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness.

Dr. Maya Angelou

Astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness. That’s all we can do. One at a time, collectively, with kindness, there is progress.

Kindness doesn’t always mean keeping your mouth shut. Sure, that’s comfortable, but as we’ve seen, it doesn’t move things in any direction. To go forward we must speak up with kindness and love.

Many people don’t feel heard. Some react with empathy, some react with force. Which is kinder? Which would Dr. Angelou have us do?

Unfortunately, sometimes empathy isn’t understood until people bring forward the alternative. And seen among the alternatives, kindness will astonish a mean world, and bring forth progress.

Dr. Angelou calls for kindness. When kindness isn’t enough, it surely stands out.

Kindness: An Interfanatic Quality

We deal with a lot of people. We always try to do it with kindness. I don’t know your situation. I hope we can work together and make our little parts of the world work – with kindness.

The ripple of kindness spreads through our community. We put that ripple into everything we do. Which is, at times, difficult, and frustrating. But it’s so worth doing because that ripple always reflects back somehow. Kindness is always worth the effort, even if its reflected effects aren’t immediate. The effect on our own hearts of projecting kindness is immediate, especially when kindness is given freely.

That’s one reason, during this difficult time of tumult, we’re offering free products to people who need them. Free SEO situation reports, free digital marketing situation reports, free performance situation reports.

Kindness is always worth the effort

These aren’t some pre-packaged drivel. These are custom, bespoke reports created around your website. They’re not as powerful as the non-free reports, of course, but they still give you a lot of information. Take us up on our offer. And if you win the weekly Tuesday Trivia contest on our social, you get a paid Situation Report of your choice for free.

Effort goes into our Free Situation Reports. They’re valuable for the people who get them. A great deal of effort goes into our paid-for SitReps, and they’re extremely valuable for people who get them.

Roger Klein of Spectrum West Design – Always with the Kindness

A few years ago, we worked with Roger Klein to build him an effective website for his interior design services. The thing you understand about Roger immediately is his kindness. He’s a kind gentleman.

And he’s a great interior designer.

It’s always great to work with somebody who is good at what they do. They always teach you something. There’s always a lesson. But when they’re good at what they do and they’re kind, that’s where the fun really begins.

Klein brings kindness to his talent. That’s quite an effective combination.

Kindness in all Actions: Interfanatic Basic Management – 1 Hour of Updates

If your website isn’t producing customers for you, look at it. How effective is it?

We use our SitReps to guide your revision, then plan out what updates need to be done. Right now is a time to be dynamic in business. Stagnancy will not win this day. Address your customers. Address their concerns. Tell them if you’re open for business, and if you’ve had to adapt your services to the times, tell them how.

If you feel in over your head, we’re here to help. This is what we do. We take care of the details so you can focus on your business. Whether that means thriving, or just keeping the doors open, we’re here to help. We work with customers of all budgets.

Really, you should be constantly updating your site. (We can do that, too.) But seriously, right now is a time to be proactive, especially if you normally are not.

Our Begin Management products might make sense, too. They can include a SitRep and two hours of labor. These new products are not on our website, but contact us to learn more about them.

We’re here to help. We feel successful when we help you be successful. Let us do our job and make your website and digital marketing even more effective.

That’s the Interfanatic way.

Interfanatic and Kindness

We’re always here for you. And we always bring a dose of kindness to our relationship. That’s a fundamental part of our job. It’s a wonderful feeling to go the extra mile for a small business, then watch them take that mile and make so much more of it.

We’ll bring you kindness with our good work. We love to continue to astonish this mean old world.

What in the heck does spaghetti have to do with kindness??? Have you ever shared a bowl full of spaghetti with family? It’s made with love, just like this kindness my wifey made for me. She’s busy working every day, but she sees how hard I work so she goes the extra mile to make delicious food with kindness and love. So, I wanted to celebrate that. I don’t ask her to cook – in fact, I often offer to. But she refuses because she loves to cook. It’s a wonderful load she takes on, and I’m grateful for her kindness.

Goodness: Green Ink Marketing – Interfanatic Customer Spotlight

The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all directions.”

Chanakya

Chanakya, an early Indian philosopher and statesman, knew good from bad. He saw both sides of humanity throughout his life. He celebrated the proliferation of goodness.

It’s a beautiful sentiment. But I think, if there’s no wind, the fragrance of the flower permeates its surroundings in all directions. When there is wind against a person, what becomes of their goodness? Does it go with the wind, or against it?

Regardless, we appreciate the goodness of people. And we celebrate it. We try to share our goodness, and let it permeate all the work we do.

Goodness: An Interfanatic Quality

We love working with good people. In fact, we won’t work with people we don’t consider to have good hearts. Life is too short, and we need to apply our talents in a way that will improve the world.

Everyone has bad moments. But if they’re good at their core, the law of averages will right the situation and bring things back to a positive balance.

This is when work is worth doing. It’s easier to work hard for good people.

Green Ink Marketing – The Good Idea of Good People

Many years ago, Green Ink Marketing came to us for website consultation. They had the idea to do printing on recycled paper, with eco-friendly and sustainable inks that also were brilliant and lasting. All decisions are based around using the least environmentally impactful method whenever possible. It was a good idea, and we’re pleased to have helped.

It’s wonderful to work with new, small businesses who feel they can make the world better – if just a tiny bit. It’s encouraging and inspiring.

That’s the kind of goodness we love to work with. When doing good permeates your every move, as it does for Green Ink Marketing, it ripples outward, attracting like-minded individuals and their businesses.

Green Ink Marketing: a small, local company, doing good for their community and the businesses that surround them. It was our pleasure to work with them, even if just for a little bit.

When doing good permeates your every move, as it does for Green Ink Marketing, it ripples outward, attracting like-minded individuals and their businesses.”

We’re always looking to assist other businesses like Green Ink. If you have a good idea and you need help getting started, reach out to us. Let’s see what we can do together. We work with customers of all types and budget sizes.

What’s Good: Interfanatic The Works HackSecure Dedicated Business Hosting with SSL

For serious business websites, we have our The Works series of products. A great example of a business that could use our The Works HackSecure Dedicated Business Hosting is a high-traffic eCommerce site. It’s got all the bells and whistles you need to run a safe, secure website that’s not limited by resource.

All of our management and hosting plans come with use-it-or-lose-it labor included to keep things running even when problems arise. Because, let’s be honest, no matter what you do, stuff happens. The labor is designed to ensure the websites run safely, and to take care of any little changes you have for your site. If you have more changes or labor required (including The Works Advanced or Rush labor), you have to pay for it, but at least you start every month with some in the bank.

We keep the lights on for ya, so you can go about your business.

Interfanatic and Goodness

Chanakya is one of history’s interesting characters. He put himself in positions that gave him a fascinating collective experience to draw on. And his observations, I find, are often keen. (Of course, they should be taken in context.)

But this one – about the flowers and the goodness of people… It’s universal. Our goal, every day we go to work, is to spread a little goodness and hope a little comes back. The endeavor is to spread goodness whether the wind is with us, or against us.

Ah, a lovely and intricate succulent. The water’s surface tension interacts with the cuticle in repulsion, giving the water a gem-like, glassy quality. Sometimes it’s the little things, you know? Succulents are beautiful in California, a way to see greenery in a State plagued by drought. And, in line with the green theme of this week’s customer spotlight. And, our The Works hosting is like a succulent, in that it rarely runs dry on resources and it’s spiny to keep the baddies out.

Strength: D&G Paving – Interfanatic Customer Spotlight

“You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice.”

Bob Marley

Marley was certainly tested, which is why he gained so much insight into strength. He needed it to make his rebellious music, and his fans grew to need it from him. When we lost him, it was a tragedy for those who loved him – but his strength plays on.

Strength: strength of body, strength of character, strength of mind, strength of will.

When you look at Dan Ash of D&G Paving, his strengths are the first thing that strike you. Dan’s built a great business on strength, and on the strength of his product: great paving services.

Strength is a requirement of building a new business. It’s not easy. One must retain the fortitude to make it through the bumps.

I don’t know if Ash is the Yoda of asphalt, but some certainly consider him to be. He doesn’t need the Force, he just uses gigantic powerful machines to do his job beautifully and quickly in a way that has strength to stand the test of time.

If you look anywhere around Los Angeles, California’s South Bay, you’ll see the signature white and orange “D&G Paving” signs all over the place. You’ve probably noticed them before. There’s a reason for that – D&G is great at what they do.

Unless you’re a property owner or a property manager, you probably don’t have the need for fresh slurry very often. But next time you need asphalt or concrete work done for your business or parking lot, you know you can count on the strength of Dan Ash and D&G Paving.

Value: Peters Realty Center – Interfanatic Customer Spotlight

Price is what you pay; value is what you get.

– Warren Buffett

In this fascinating, terrifying and often delightful world, it’s difficult to know the price of a dollar. Nick Peters (now of Engel & Volkers) knows value.

We do on-going consultation with Nick. He’s one of the best Real Estate Agents in South Redondo Beach and Torrance, CA. All RE Agents claim to have superior customer service, and they all claim to really care about their clients, and they all say they really work hard for them. And many do.

But Nick takes it next level. Nick puts his money where his mouth is. He is constantly investing in his business to bring his customers value. And it works. And his customers know it. That’s why, in a flooded market, they stick with Nick and his team.

We at Interfanatic are attracted to Nick’s business because we do the same thing. We’re always brainstorming new ways to get value to our customers; to improve ROI; to help their business be better.

Nick and I sometimes just sit and chat and it’s amazing what comes out of our little sessions. It’s always valuable. And we’re happy to share what we learn from each other and pass it along.

Because to us, sharing what we learn… that’s value.

Torrance and Gardena are rife with printers – some good and some not-so-good.  Some print brokers claim to be printers, then outsource their printing to other printers, but not Tetra Graphics.  Their full service facility gives Mr. Wratschko’s Tetra Graphics the ability to do almost everything in-house.  With a focus on real customer service, we’re excited to be working with Tetra Graphics – a great company in Los Angeles’ South Bay.

We encourage you to try out Tetra Graphics for your next print job.  Once you’ve sampled their service, quality, and value, we’re sure you’re printing decisions will be much easier!

Gianapoulos Eats Up MyLittleGreekBakery.com Baklava

“That’s the best baklava I’ve ever had!”, said Jim Gianapoulos, Chairman of the Board and President of 20th Century Fox Films after trying some of MyLittleGreekBakery.com‘s (of Christina Cole, in Torrance, CA) . And

A picture of Christina Cole's Baklava from MyLittleGreekBakery.com
A picture of Christina Cole's Baklava from MyLittleGreekBakery.com

Gianopoulos should know, as a second-generation Greek from New York, he’s gotten to try a lot of Baklava!

Gianopoulos’ assistant found MyLittleGreekBakery.com after searching for Greek Bakeries in Torrance California from his Chicago Office, and by special arrangement, picked up a try of Christina’s yummy baklava and tyropita. That just proves that WSmad’s SEO tactics work, even on our super-low budget projects designed to help our clients and friends get a solid start on their business.  It’s all about ROI, from day one.

These folks know their Greek food, and I wouldn’t want to talk to Mama Gianopoulos if word ever gets back, but we just hope she would be proud of the fine Greek tradition being celebrated and passed on by Cole and her family to our Southern California neighborhood.
Now, let it be said again that EVERYTHING Christina makes is phenomenal – from Greek traditional pastries like Baklava and Tyropita to her Magical Bars and Krispy Treats (and all the other stuff we’ve gotten to try!)  But when somebody like Gianopoulos, who grew up around fantastic Greek cooking and probably doesn’t spare expense to have the best available gives praise to Greek cooking, you have to take note.

We already knew it, but YOU GO, CHRISTINA!

Order up a plate from MyLittleGreekBakery.com before word gets around too much and she raises her prices!
